Roasted green tea from Kaga, Japan.
The stems of the first tea leaves are carefully roasted to bring out their original flavour, and the unique mellow flavour and clear aroma can be enjoyed.
In the Meiji era (1868-1912), the Kaga region was one of the leading tea-growing regions in Japan.
However, the cold, snowy climate made it impossible to pick the best tea in autumn, and most of the good products were exported to Europe and the USA.
It has a unique flavour that cannot be experienced with other teas and is still an essential part of the Kaga region's traditional tea culture.
The preparation is very simple. Pour hot water over 1 spoon tea and brew for 15 seconds.
Content: 70g (loose tea)
